It would probably be possible, but not very practical. Of course the steering system would be different, mirror image. The firewall has some differences. I think the dashboard substructure's mounting holes are the same, so it would be a matter of obtaining the LHD parts and swapping them in.
It would be a lot more practical to find a LHD car in good condition and use whatever parts are readily interchangable as spares. East coast US and many European cars are badly rusted, but we find 99s all the time in the Pacific Northwest that are relatively rust free.
