99 Power Steering

I'm trying to hook the power steering back up on my '76 99 Rally car (yeah, it used to be an automatic). I don't have the original pump, reservoir, or lines so I'm using a pump and brackets from an '80 900T and I'm making some cutsom lines. On the 900, it is obvious which line goes into which part of the rack (the high and low pressure lines have different thread sizes) but on the 99 both use the same sized banjo fittings. Does anyone know if it matters which line goes to which fitting on the rack? There is an upper and a lower threaded hole in the rack, I might just see which line fits into the engine bay the best in the different orientations...
