Hi All,

I just purchased a set of shocks for the front and rear of my 69/96. The place sent me the shocks, but the rears are the same at both ends. Instead of having a stud that runs parallel to the shock for mounting inside the trunk on one side, the shocks are built just the fronts with the loops for the bolt to go through on both sides (like the fronts are built).

The Parts house said the originals are no longer available, and I would have to make some kind of an adapter to get them to work ( they do not sell anything). The shocks are KYB. Is this true? and if so, what was done as far as an adapter went. I find this hard to believe.
