As Jim said it may well be salvageable. One procedure is to fit a spacer between flywheel and crankshaft to put the flywheel surfaces back in the original position so that the clutch actuating geometry is correct. You would need to know the original thickness of the flywheel and the finished thickness to know how thick a spacer to use. You might want slightly longer flywheel bolts, not a bad notion to replace these anyway. The spacers are a routinely available item for some engines, but I have not found one for the V4, you might need to have one machined, it has to be VERY flat so I would not advise just taking a washer or a piece of steel and drilling holes in it.
