I take it that you refer to the U-shaped hose. I think the diameter is about 1/2", but you can easily measure. Once you find the diameter of the nipples, hose of that specific ID will be great but slightly larger (say 1/8" larger, fastened with a hose clamp) or slightly smaller (say 1/16" smaller, or whatever you can contrive to push on to the nipples) will serve. If the hose is tight, some oil or WD40 or similar will ease installation.

The problem about this hose is not the diameter but the U-shape. Here are some solutions: A) Try a hose like the PS hose already mentioned, if it has a section you can cut to fit, it should be fine. NB: You need a hose of a rubber compound suitable for exposure to hydrocarbons, ie oil and fuel vapors. Coolant hose will not do. B) Get a copper pipe fitting (solder type) of a suitable diameter in a U-shape (average hardware store may not have this, but it does exist), then two straight sections of hose and some hose clamps, and you're done. Or two 90 bends to make a 180, this would be one standard bend and one street bend. C) Get a straight or somewhat curved piece of hose of suitable compound and a couple of copper 90 bends of a size that can be shoved inside (eg maybe 3/8" copper bends if hose ID is 1/2") and poke one inside (WD40 again) from each end until they more or less meet in the middle and give you the desired U-shape. D) Select your hose, then find a coil spring that will fit inside it or outside it. Either can work if you select the right spring. Install the spring inside or outside the hose, then you can bend it to a fairly tight radius without collapsing/kinking the hose. This is my personal favorite. E) Get a foot or so of suitable hose and loop it around in a long loop that gets from PCV valve to valve cover without kinking the hose. Enuf?
