Jimmy, thanks! After KsKid posted about the adjustment, I noticed the square bolt which is much like the rear brake adjusters and wondered if that wasn't it.
I got a good chuckle on the 'piece at a time' comment, and it makes a lot of sense. I've looked at other pictures online and wondered why I couldn't find the right combination of front turn signals/grille/lower door trim. I'm assuming the door trim is the mismatched trim you refer to. Maybe I can really 'dress it up' and put the older front grille and section on and use the front turn signals as running lights. :)
On the door handles, I'm guessing that they are supposed to maybe point up towards the plastic guards? I'm having trouble finding interior door pictures with the correct placement.
Guess how the horn in this car is used right now? If you guessed by pulling back on the wiper control (as if you were working the washer), you would be correct.
Any further insight you or anyone else can shed on my mismatched cruiser will be very much appreciated. I certainly would have been the uninformed buyer if I was trying to make a parts-matching resto wouldn't I? :)
