Thanks for the info. If I didn't care about doing this cheaply, yes I would have taken the whole thing in and gotten it rebuilt. But it ran great when it was together except for the timing gears breaking, so I'm just doing what I can cheaply while it's apart. And thanks, yes, I can read calipers, I'm an aeronautical engineer. It's good to hear that local machine shops can possibly furnish the parts. Thanks Brian, Kansas, and KsKid for some good info.
