Lars, when I used to restore V4's I would always have hardened valve seats installed because these engines pre-date the unleaded gas spec's. Those are some interesting headliners, good luck. You have the Solex carb. on your '68 I assume? Front brake hoses are the same as for an early MG-B (widely available) and ft. brake rotors had many app's. also. Get some Sonnet III soccer ball wheels for the 96 and enjoy the amazing difference of lowering your unsprung weight. Put the right oil in the transaxles on those cars. Often previous owners will have filled them with gear oil (smell the sulfer) and this is the "kiss of death" for them. Drain, flush with mineral spirits and refill with 70w motorcycle oil or "Redline". Good gearboxes for these cars are getting scarcer everyday.
