After rebuilding my '69 VDO speedometer with the head from another similar unit, it's way too high (reading 80 mph at 60 mph). Does anyone know how the speedometers and transmission calibrations vary across time and across models (e.g., are the 3-speeds incompatible?) I just don't want to have to do this a third time if I get it wrong again!
