Hey all,
I am starting to think about owning a vintage Saab. I sold my 2001 9-5 (hardly vintage) and I am kicking myself to this day. I know that I am going to pick up another one soon. But I always loved the older Saabs. I am looking for either a 92 or a 93 or a 2 stroke 96. I am not looking for a project. I am looking for a cherry one.
So the question is this... Which one would be the most fun (very subjective question I know). Keeping in mind that I will probably drive it about 5,000 miles a year tops, is there one that I shouldn't even look at? Or should I be thinking V4 96? I have a dedicated Saab garage about 7 miles from my house and they are proficent on old Saabs. Your opinions on What and Where I could find either one that is "done" or an excellent builder/restorer would be great. I don't mind waiting for one to be completed. I can wait for a year if the restoration is worth it.
Thanks,
Warren
