Please do not just fire this puppy up like the Tin man in the wixxard of OZ. Be careful and find a old car mechanic or an old mechanic and do some precautionary work first. Pull oil tank and clean, rehose the oil supply to oip pump, have tech pull pump cover,Tech must do ( put paper under carch spring and plunger ) remove clean jelleyed oil. Use any water craft 2 stroke oil in tank. Do not disconnect ENGINE OIL pump when done above oil tank and pump cleaning done. Oil exits the pump shaft and then lubes the crank gear and distributor gear, AND the main crank bearings are schielded and petroil ( oil in the gas tank) will not supply the mains with adequate oil.Speaking of petroil , drain the tank, add 2 gallons with carb gumout, bounce car let sit 2 days. drain tank. refill: petroil 6 gal to quart os 30 to one ( too much) 8 gal gas to quart 40 to one is ok. With synthetic 2 stroke oil Premix rato's are less 28 OZ to 8 gal. Next pull intake manifold and prime oil pump ( remove 3/4 " end cap and turn inner slotted screw 50 to 100 times to prime pump and pil lines in block. ( direction arrow on pump aluminum housing)The reason you pull intake is the 3 oil lines for the cyl bore end inside the intake port. You should see oil OOZe and be supplied there, after priming the pump earlier and now actively. These cyl lines are the longest and higghest oil lines in block so if these are OK then unaccessable 4 lower crank main bearing lines are likely open. Before Remount carbs , have trustworthy old car tech, with the carbs on the manifold! pull all jets ( ALL jets are external and stone easy to clean. Pull carb tops only and clean the fuel bowls. DO NOT TAKE CARBS OFF OF 1. common throttle body NOR do not separate intake manifold from common throttle body. NO GASKETS Availiable) Not fit the intake manifold with carbs. Then get electric fuel pump and try to get fuel from tank. ( original pump was diaphram driven by crank pressure differentials (poor)
Lastly while were getting keen to start her up, test for spark from the coil wire. If none the points are dirty or oxidized so a quick swipe of 200 grit wet dry sand paper will get spark back. You will be lucky to have it awake but start with ALL of the above. Stuck clutch and clutch hydros and brake hydros next..
