I've been working on these cars for forty years and have never seen one without the bleeder nipple.
The wrench needed is 7/16" SAE.
The only Metric bolts on the 95/96/Sonett are on the engine and Bosch parts (all made in Germany).
If you look in the front of the shop repair manual there is a statement that all bolts on the car are SAE (except as noted above) ... this note is in all manuals up to the 1975 99 manual, when _some_ chassis bolts were changed to Metric.
