V4 is acting underpowered.

I just installed a "new" transmission in my 1970 v4 yesterday and the engine runs great but when driving it , it feels underpowered, i mean , like the transmission is not transfering all the power to the wheels. it feel like it being held back, not from the engine side but from the transmission side.
The transmission makes no strange noises and is quite, I running Redline MTL.

What could be causing this, seems like something is misadjusted?
