Carb clean dry plug and use locktite 518 (red) liberally on plug only and reinstall. HAVE you done THIS? For as many posts you have revieced on other lists, do try all methods mentioned, OR< there may be a crack in the case that widens as taper plug is inserted. Then the only way to slow this is to recut threads for non taper and use new drain plug with shoulder and soft copper or wide nylon seal.
