Just search this and the Sonett board for "electric fan." You need to figure out how to turn it off and on, but the wiring is straightforward. Likewise the whole cooling problem has been discussed at length if you search "cooling system," "overheating," and the like.
Just converting the fan will not improve cooling of a system that is underdesigned for temperatures like the 108 predicted here today. You first need to know that is operating as designed, ie radiator flow not impaired; then you may need to improve it with measures such as a better radiator or an oil cooler (search).
Removing the thermostat is a poor idea in all cases. Likewise the common idea of using a lower-temperature thermostat will do nothing for a system that cannot remove enough heat in the first place.
