My wife wants a 96 Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 22 Oct 2017 06:40:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I found a 1973 example in need of some work for a reasonable price but the interior has lots of missing/damaged pieces in the lone front interior photo. No photos of rear interior. No photos of engine compartment. No photos of under carriage.
Apparently the car ran until the current owner decided to rebuild the carburetor. Gear selector lever appears to be hanging far too low in the photo making me suspect the shift linkage is missing or disconnected. Car is currently in Colorado, said to be from Wyoming before that, so the Mid-West and North-east salt cancer should not be a concern, but no photo (yet) to support that assumption.
What is the availability of interior trim parts for these cars? Or rather, is there ANY availability other than finding donor cars for trim pieces?
FWIW - my wife does not drive a stick, let alone a Four On The Tree which I think this car has.
Thanks,
