I've read that the Vredestein do perform great. But the explicit warning to not flex the rubber at all under 40F makes me wary. We commonly have cold mornings, and it would not allow me to ever drive in the late fall/winter/early spring up here.
I'm surprised Jimmy had a bad experience with the Radial T/A, I've had a set on my '69 AMX in storage for 25 years, no flat spotting at all. Totally different size though, 225/65R15
Anyone with real world experience running the Firestone? Another affordable tire. Found one comparison that rated it better than the Michelin, and just below the Vredestein.
