You got anyone who does hydraulic lines nearby? They might be able to help. You Aussies are probably more inventive about such problems than most Americans are anymore. You have to be when you can't go a couple of miles to your local parts store or dealer and find what you need on the shelf.
I remember when CIS first came out in '75 there was replacement plastic line available that was used with the old fittings. I haven't seen that line for years. I also remember a description on how to put the lines on the fittings and a specially modified pair of pliers to clamp the line and hold it as you slid it onto the fitting. I can't find any of that in the Factory Service Manual. Maybe it was in a Service Bulletin that I saw when I was working at the dealer. Or maybe it was in a Bosch book on CIS. I seem to remember one of the guys that I worked with trying to put a line onto a fitting and being very frustrated with the process. I wish I had the information, but I'm not sure if you can even buy the lines except premade with fittings.
