John
I know you said 99T were rare in Australia, but I did not think they were that rare.
The two 99T 5doors I previously owned were definately Australain compliance, not private imports. The 99T that I think you are refereing to in WA (the one owned by Keith?) is a private import from the UK. It is a sad to think that I used one of those working and licensed 99Ts as a parts car....arghhhh!! If only I had known. Oh dear, I do hope that the current owner of my other (past) 99T is taking good care of it.
Oh yeah, Don, having met the likes of JohnC and Remy, both of which have shipped cars from Europe and the UK to Australia, I think you would be mad not to ship your car arcross the US continent (provided the car is special and in good nick). The distance and the cost for shipping a car across the continent would be much less and you would not have to pay the crazy import fees we pay in Australia.
