Ahhhh the 99Turbo.
Before I get too carried away with my description remember that the 99 turbo will handle as well if not better than any other equivelent car for its age. Also bare in mind my comments are referring to a 99T 5 door I once owned.....
The 99T is built like a tank, drives like a (express) train in straigth lines, especially at speed (nice and stable) and the best bit is that it pulls like a train, especially on boost in 3rd.
The handling in such a solid feeling car around corners very good, just not fantastic. But as John said the SAS swaybars will improve this to a degree that very few cars will catch you round corners. Without the sway bars the train becomes a little like a high speed barge, leaning in and out of corners...but with plenty of grip.
If you want a sharp handling Saab 99 buy a 99 two door EMS and put a turbo engine in it, this way you get the same shocks as the Turbo but also a lighter and perhaps(?) stiffer body. Either way the 99 two doors feel much sharper than the three and five doors.
BTW JohnC, have you fitted those bars yet? :o)
