99GL to 99 Turbo

Presumably it's not that difficult 'splicing' in the wiring for the fuel pump if one were to, say, be attempting to build a 99 turbo from a 99 GL using an 'endo'd' '80 900 turbo donor car..? I have seen an '82 99 turbo-ised so it must be possible.
Any thoughts guys?
