Thats when the heater-fan-bushings start squeeling. Mine did too, the other day. Time for the old grease-trick. (Did that three years ago)
- Disconnect the fan socket.
- Loosen and remove the three screws. Philips screws, or torx on the latest ones.
- Pull out the motor. Lubricate both bushings with thin oil, then grease.
- pull out the turbine. The books says to remove the wiper motor first, but that's bollocks. Simply wiggle it out.
- Aplly thin oil to the inner bushing pin. Insert the turbine, rotate by hand, pull out again, lubricate again and stuff it in.
- Rotate, then pull out, apply thick grease. This year I tried a new trick: Chain-saw oil. Very gooey.
- Now you can assemble the whole thing. Enjoy!
