I don't see why it would matter. I would use whatever gas made your car run well at the best price. For the cars that I have advanced the timing on, I use premium...for all the others, I tend to use mid-grade. If the car lugs, pings, etc....try a higher octane, but really, I've tried 85 octane (high in the rocky mountains) and 102 octane with little difference on a stock car. In my sonett, I use the beefy stuff and I see a difference...not huge, but noticeable.
