Surviving SF Bay Area Saab Repair Shops - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
I have a 2005 9-3SS 2.0L that needs a water pump. Too lazy to spend as much time under the car as this job needs!
B and B quoted something insane. The only other place I found that sounded OK and reasonable was Saab Replay in Berkeley, is over an hour away though. So at least 4 hrs of travel to drop and pick up.
The usual suspects all seem to be out of business. Parker in Mt View and Saab Factory in Santa Clara are gone.
Anyone have any ideas for the Peninsula/South Bay? All it really needs is a tech who has done this job before and understands the need to be careful with the timing/balance chain. It is way beyond a generic "foreign auto" place.
