Does anyone know why there was no deadline posted on any information (registration forms) for the 2005 NSOC, yet when I went to the site yesterday a deadline of midnight was flashing? I searched the entire site and the only mention I saw was in the Chairman's update letter.
** There was also a post in the Convention BB on this site, and the homepage.
Why did the registration fees go up $20.00?
** As a penalty for not signing up earlier. This event, like a wedding or anything else, requires us to give the hotel a final headcount for food and drink as close to the event as possible.
What is the cost of a day pass purchased at the convention?
Roughly $30.-, which includes access to the event, however, you are on your own for food.
Does a day pass just let spectators in or can you display your car?
** Onsite day pass may/may not, we have not decided yet. The Day Pass via the printable .pdf of $ 60.00 will and also gets your lunch and dinner.
Does a day pass get you full access to events? ** Yes
What are the dinner menus? Buffet? If so, what is offered Saturday?
** Saturday is a buffet......so a mix to accomodate all tastes. The boxed lunch choices are raost beef, turkey, and veggie.
Since I heard that this year's convention was going to be so close to home I've been excited about going. My car has been dissasembled, stripped, painted, and overhauled in preperation. It looks like I might actually get this thing done in time for the show and now I've been thrown a curveball.
Help!!
** A curveball? When did you hear it was this "close to home" this morning?
