Hi all, removed my mass airflow sensor to inspect and clean after continuing intermittent errors. Had a heck of a time getting the right side removed, plastic on plastic. There was a gasket on the left side at airbox though was not one on the right. See in photo, there appears to be a space for one.

If it should be there, wondering if causing the error code due to bad seal. I can’t find any gasket part references anywhere. And the dealer replaced the sensor around 5 years back which I was never happy on, cost at the time and intermittent code continued shortly after.

Meanwhile in searching I found that Bosch gives a lifetime warranty on their same part#
