How to get the most life out of your clutch?

I have been driving stick for a long time, but have yet to go through a clutch (I am only 20 after all).
I was wondering if you guys had any tips or procedures on how to get a ton of life out of the NG 900 clutch.
I drive aggressively but am gentle to my car (as gentle as I can be in NYC).
I was thinking starting from a stop at low RPM would be good for the clutch. And also matching revs when downshifting.
So are there any habits I should adopt/erase and what is the overall technique for long lasting clutches?
Thanks for advice.
Vladimir
