I posted a few notes about my p/s leak. I have checked all the line fittings, they are all dry. I can see fluid dripping from behind the shaft after warm up and a few miles. A few questions:
1) is there another fitting back there, or do I need a new pump?
2) will the p/s fluid damage my new water pump in any way?
3) will the p/s fluid damage my new alternator in any way?
4) what about the belt, is it trash or can i clean it?
it looks like a snap to replace, any tricks? didnt see any in the archives.
Thanks,
Charles
