Are the pins all in a row?
It was in the bag that collects the top? (or coming from it)
It probably goes to one of the two indicator switches that tell the top computer whether or not the back is unfolded. These are an N/O type switch so having it unplugged will not stop the top from working (the computer things the bag is unfolded in that case).
Follow the wire to see where it leads to be sure.
Do you get an err message on the SID?
