Not trying to flame you but, are you sure you put it back together properly? I found the assembly to be pretty straightforward. Did compress the spring properly and evenly? What kind of shape was the bearing in? I would pull everything out, inspect, and re-assemble. The strut tower fully assembled should not be loose at all. The spring should be flush with the mount and the mount flush with the mounting surface on the car. Do a search for dip's instructions...
