As everyone who has posted here on TSN for the past few years should know, I HATE rattles!!! My 9-3 was a seriously rattly car until recently. I narrowed most rattles down to the rear speaker encolsures and the rear seat "beam." Try putting some paper or foam between the speakers and the C pillars beside the speakers. Then put a tennis ball under each rear seat. The tennis balls push up on the rear beam which stop it from rattling. They also elevate the rear seat and make it a little more comfortable.
ESK, can you expand on that "rear hatch" rattle? I've still got a rattle or two that I'd like to figure out.
I'm surprised to hear that some of the 2000s rattle. I thought that most rattly 9-3s were the earlier 1999s.
