Red makes a statement - it's too bold for many drivers. Black makes
a similar statement. Hard to keep clean, shows all dents: high risk,
high reward. Electric blue is a fad. Get it if you like, sell within
5 years. Red has been around since time began, it will be here in the
future for those who can handle it. People are weenies now, Red makes
them squirm - they don't know why, but it's just too much for them
to handle.
For those who can't make that agressive a statement, there's silver.
Boring, dull, "stays clean"... I remember my *Dad* saying "buy a
silver or grey car, it hides the dirt") True, it hides the dirt,
because it's as boring as dirt. I agreed with Dad on a lot, but not
his choice of auto colors (although it's worth noting that Dad bought
an electric blue car a few years later, and followed up with a
bright red car for Mom :-)
