SS: All prices are approximate.
Abbott ECU, $1,000
K&N filter, $60
Abbott exhaust (turbo back, incl. down pipe, mid pipe, muffer) $1,500. I think Swedish Dynamics and Accelerated Response both have cheaper alternatives.
Springs, $300
Koni shocks, $730
The rear sway bar and Viggen Rescue kit were under $1,000, see Abbott's web site for exact prices.
Quaife LSD, $1,000
Speedline GT1 wheels and Potenza S0-2 tires 215-45-17, $2,500.
Holy shit, I've spent way too much money. WTF was I thinking?
I'm running Mintex pads on stock rotors and they work fine, even at the track. They're not as good as the stock pads for street use, but don't fade after 15 minutes of hot lapping. When I wear my rotors out I'll probably upgrade, but not until then.
I have not dyno'd the car, but plan to do so this month b/f I do any more work on it. I'm thinking about a Garrett hybrid T3/T4 turbo upgrade, bored throttle body, and ported and polished cylinder head. I'll also need bigger injectors or a fuel pressure regulator to increase fuel delivery. I would like to see if I can get 300 hp out of this motor b/f calling it quits.
