I don't find the accelerator and the brake too close together, but I do find that the right side of my right foot often rubs against the center console when I press the accelerator. If I slide my foot over so that it doesn't rub, then I feel like my foot will fall off the left side of the sccelerator. Not really...it just feels that way. But after a while I got used to it. What is it they say, that you have to do something a new way for 21 days before it becomes ingrained as a habit...
