My top has been basically squeek free. However I do some regular maintenance on it to keep it that way. I have found that 'heavy' silicone applied sparingly to all the rubber areas around the window seal areas, rear rubber trip where it contacts the boot and the front rubber seal above the windshield keeps it squeek free. Put it in between the seal strips where they come together when the roof is close too. Also there is one other place to put some - right at the hinge on the flap where it contacts the boot - it is that piece that sticks up (when the roof is closed) right behind the front seat belt mount. When that piece is in an up position it has a tendency to squeek a bit without the silicone.
Also I periodically (even in winter) put the top down in the garage and clear the boot area where the roof seals, it typically collects some dirt there.
I prefer the heavy silicon since it stands up very well to washing, elements etc - - just use it sparingly. It is the consistecy of 'aren't cha my mamma' maple syrup.
I think this will do the trick for you and keep the trolls from singing to you when you drive.
Regards,
Dave Kovacs
