(Perhaps?) buying a new SE

I'm about 99% sure I want to get a new 9-3. I'm looking at a blue 5-speed SE (I was shocked when the dealer actually TOLD me about the rebate - I didn't have to "extract" that from him).
Anyhow, three questions:
1:Should I upgrade to 17"'s? Will I notice a ride difference, or are 17's on the SE really about "looking like a Viggen"?
2:Both cars I test drove yesterday (1 SE, one base) were great, but the FM radio reception seemed to bite the proverbial big one. Local high powered stations up and down the band had static - and I was driving up and down a major freeway where my (on it's last ownership legs) car normally gets great reception. Are there FM reception issues with the 9-3 head unit?
3:Does anyone's (Clarion, Panasonic, et al) aftermarket CD changer snap in? $495 seems REALLY overpriced - just called Crutchfield, and they don't have ANY info on the 9-3, let alone which changer could adapt...
Thanks all!
Wes
