I do not know about the samsung phones. In order for the triad to work, or the saab wiring harness in a non onstar vehicle, the phone company, samsung in this case, must have a handsfree kit of some type available. This kit _needs_ the following:
speaker +/-
mic +/-
Almost all the phones have a kit of some sort that would get you that. (a headset would do that.
If you want the radio to mute automatically the kit will also need a some sort of output to signal that the phone is ringing. If it is a ground output you are in buisness and can interface directly into the triad or saab system. If it is a +VDC output you can trick the triad or saab by wiring that to a relay that connects to ground. therby making a ground output.
If it does not have a signal output you could wire an additional switch from ground to the triad or saab wiring harness that you would have to manually activate to signal the radio that you want to use the phone, and manually deactivate to let it know you are done.
If you want the phone to charge while in the handsfree system, the kit you buy from your phone company must also have charging capability.
