Sorry to hear about the Saab troubles in Tay-has. I'll echo some of the sentiment already expressed. Perhaps Saab simply needs to tailor advertising a little better to different regions of the country.
Southwest Saab: Complete with rawhide seats and horns mounted on the hood. Onstar says "What the hail do yuh want now?" Optional smoker grill folds out of the hatch.
Pacific NorthwestSaab: Fun new colors like Mocha and Java. Super-duper windshield wipers. Car runs Microsoft windows runs on the SID. Espresso dispenser.
SoCal Saab: No windshield wipers. 19 inch chrome wheels. lowered. One new gear in the tranny called "creep forward" gear. Optional generator occupies rear seat and can power your home during blackouts.
MilitiaEdition Saab: GoodYear wrangler tires on matte black rims. Winch. gun rack. state-police style spotlight. PA system.
You get the idea. I think Saab advertising and the accessory products group simply needs to get more creative. Like the first Ford Explorer and the original Dodge Caravan, Saab could be GM's new revolution.
Cheers!
