pod I used is actually designed for a Toyota MR-2. Not a perfect fit, but it works. The internal fuse box as well as the rheostat for the dash lighting is right there and I tapped that for the gauges back-light
I ran the line through the large rubber gromet through which the steering column runs. The line then taps into the MAP sensor by way of a Tee fitting. BTW, the MAP sensor is mounted on the passenger side (LHD models) of the shock tower stress bar.
The toughest part of the installation was running through the steering rack gromet. having a blown L4-L5 disk in my back at the time didn't help matters.
It's done and works great. I've had it installed now since January, '01.
Good luck and Happy Saabing!
