The silencer was designed to be installed in 1994-1999 systems, and was phased out part way through 1999. Some 99's had them, others did not. The 2000+ vehicles will not have any such beast, nor do they have throttle body transition castings.
With the 2000+ T7's:
You can install a MBC, but you will adjust it to get boost levels comparable to stock. You will get better spool up of the turbo. For this kind of install, a $35 dawes unit can be installed in-line to the BPC which will improve spool up, and the BPC and ECU will still have full control of the boost pressures. It might even work quite well in-line between the BPC and the actuator. You could try both.
If you want more than faster turbo spin up, then you will have to get a modified ECU to get more boost pressure.
A Sports exhaust will help either way, but I would consider it optional with a T7 & MBC where the boost pressures are not really being increased.
