This month's Motor Trend compares 11 sports sedans. I was surprised the Saab placed so well in the group. Traditionally the automotive mags don't treat the Saabs really well. I think it was a pretty fair rundown. The G35 does indeed deserve 1st place. The BMW does deserve 2nd, although having driven all of these cars except the new A4, Jag and Lincoln, I would've awarded the Saab third place, not the Lex. Which one would I buy? The Saab 9-5 Aero in the same cosmic blue tested in the mag, or the Infiniti G35. Everyone has a freakin 3 Series...yawn! Tough call!!! I do like the Caddy very much, but it has a somewhat weak engine. The mag praised the Saab. They thought it did everything really well, but didn't EXCEL in any of the tests, like the G35 did in acceleration and price. They trashed the Volvo, saying it is a mechanical masterpiece looking for a chassis. The Saab has the prior, andd the latter. Here are the results, your thoughts???
1. Infiniti G35
2. BMW 330
3. Lexus IS300
4. SAAB 9-5 AERO!!!!
5. Audi A4 3.0 Quattro
6. Acura TL Type S
7. Mercedes Benz C320
8. Cadillac CTS
9. Volvo S60 T5
10. Jaguar X Type 3.0
11. Lincoln LS
