as you can see in the manual some of the minor sevice check(40k,50k) consist of oil change and inspection of various systems that you can do on your own or have an indie due for a lot less money.have it documented that it has been done. my 40k service is coming up,i will have it done by the dealer as i have a few warranty items that need to be fixed as well although for the 160 bucks it will cost to do things like"check brake fluid" it seems like a real money maker for the dealer. oh well hopefully the loaner will be an aero or 9-3ss. john
