and the car was doing this so much that I wanted to get it in. I wouldn't have minded paying for a rental if they had actually fixed the car. Anyway, they've agreed to provide a loaner when it does it again, so no complaint there. If that happens I'll be keeping the loaner until they fix it.

There are only two dealers and several independents in the region. I've used these guys for dealer-only stuff for years but if they can't find/fix the problem I'll have to try the other dealer. The independents don't want to deal with it.
