Tire Pressure . . . What about Bilstiens?

I had bumped my tire pressure up when it got cold (relatively speaking in Atlanta) to roughly 38psi. This is just too much for street driving, and I felt abused after my daily commute. This weekend I checked the PSI and I must have filled the tires when they were cold because they were both over 40psi!!! No wonder I've been bouncing all over the place! I dropped it to 34 in front and 36 in back and its MUCH better.
I also will want upgraded shocks when my stock ones are worn. While Koni's seem to be the most popular, what about Bilstiens? Adjustability is not that important to me, particularly if the shock/strut must be removed to accomplish an adjustment. I'll never bother since my needs don't change. Anyone have comments?
