Well, gee... I'm glad you're not taking this PERSONALLY! ;-)
Look, I'm just trying to get my point across (as forcefully as it may seem to you). We've had this discussion MANY times on this board, and I've had it with coworkers and others face to face. It simply astounds me at the lack of information out there. People always seem to find out the "hard way" when they prang their vehicle into a tree...
One of my REAL pet peeves is when people say that they weren't "warned" for lack of a sticker on the vehicle that sport tires are not good in the snow. Gee, I guess you can't legislate common sense huh? Some people would rather have their lawyer on speed dial...
Did you realize that Saab was SUED by some idiot in NJ because he wasn't warned that 17" alloy wheels might BEND when he hit a pothole? Well DUH! This is certainly not unique to Saab but what's the solution... Slap a big warning sticker that people will peel off anyway (and the second owner will never see?)
Glad we could educate you... And come back next year and tell us how great your Saab handles with the proper snow tires! ;-)
