You will get more boost and all of it in the lower gears too. First gear will spin tires. You will have to learn some interesting throttle techniques. The turbo will spool up much faster. You will learn about how turbo's behave once the OEM control system is out of the way. 2nd gear at full throttle will cause facial cramps from grinning.

You don't cut any of the orignal hoses!

Remove the hose at the BPC that comes up from the turbo comressor's hose barb. Take that free end and connect it to the MBC input. Remove the hose at the wastegate actuator hose barb and loop that back up to the now unoccupied hose barb on the BPC. Now the BPC is isolated and sealed from dirt. Leave the electrical connector for the BPC in place to keep that clean too. Now connect hose from BPC outlet to the wastegate actuator. Now do the adjustements.

Keep the hose lengths short and away from the manifold etc, but locate the MBC where you can adjust it without getting burnt.

When you get to boost levels where there are fuel cuts, back off until you don't. The ECU resets instantly. Ignore any crap about disconnecting the battery to clear the ECU that is suggested as neccessary for some makes.

Standard caveat: When increasing boost pressures, reduce intake and exhaust restrictions. Do the K&N 94-99=K&N 33-2663, air box mod, remove turbo discharge silencer, do TBTC mod, Sports exhaust, Mobil One oil, Purolator Pure One filters. Your BPV will probably get to making silly tooting noises, so you may be out for a metal piston bypass valve later. The above connections will lead to boost droop at higher rpms. Location of the BPC pressure tap and a Viggen IC will help a lot. The MBC will not work with the T7, black DI systems.
