I have seen a number of messages about this topic, and continue to get frustrated...especially since I am on my fifth wheel replacement in about 4 months or so (car is a year old convert.). No, I don't want to take legal action, but I have had other sports cars, and low profile tire/rim combos, and have not seen this level of 'bending' under normal driving conditions. However, I did not sign up for an annual rim replacement budget of over $2k when I bought the car! Can these damn things be straightened? Where? Anyplace in Northern NJ? Does it effect the longevity of the wheel, or strength is straightened?
Wish I saw this forum before I bought! Or I wish the dealer told me "great car, just watch out for the rim replacement budget". I may have gone to the BMW dealer! Any insight guys? Help!!!
