10,000 miles on mine now, very happy with the car. I have a linear with launch, touring, sport wheel and suspension packages.
Major problem to date was drivers side seatbelt breaking. Just spun off in my hands. Car was in the shop for two weeks while waiting for replacement belt from the factory. Dealer gave me a brand new Arc.
The only time I noticed the difference in horsepower was at higher speeds on the highway. Honestly couldn't tell the difference around town. I think both engines are better then my previous 9-3 SE.
I get some crazy warnings from time to time, "brake malfunction" and "gearbox malfuction" Only happens at start up, and then only once in every couple hundred times. I just hit clear on the display and go.
Ride and handling are up to class standards, I think it 's styled better then anything in it's class.
Doors have the famous rattle to some degree, need to get fixed.
Stereo could be better, but I work with a guy who has a 2001 528, and I don't think the stereo in his car is any better.
I'd buy the Saab again.
