I bought a 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc about 3 weeks ago. I have been very happy with it since. It handles very well. It feels solid as a tank, yet is very nimble.

A couple things I feel I should mention -- if you like the heavier steering, accelerator and clutch feel you get in German cars like the Audi or BMW, you might not like the Saab as much. The steering in the Saab is alot lighter and the accelerator and clutch are very light as well.

Also, when you press the accelerator in the Saab the car just goes -- you don't feel the connection between the accelerator and the engine like you do in those German cars. But you might actually like it that way. The Saab is a very easy to drive car. Never tiring.

Test drive it -- you'll see what I mean.

As far as road noise -- there is very little. It is very airtight and quiet.

Before I bought, I was looking at the Saab, Audi and BMW. I liked the fact that the price was a little less and I really loved the Saab interior over the other two. Much better. The BMW interior is old and tired -- I don't think they've changed it in twenty years. And the Audi interior isn't great and it's not set up well (controls are too low).

I think the car is a good value, but make sure and take advantage of any special offers Saab has. They have had some good ones lately.

My dealer has been great, but then again my dealership is #1 in customer service in the whole country.

Hope you choose the Saab 9-3 Arc. Let us know!
