Most batteries should last at least 3-4 years. Your's could be on its last leg, or it could still be good. If you notice that the car takes longer to start than it used to, or if it's ever been run dead, then it's probably time to replace it. I don't know how to read a load tester, either, but someone at an auto parts store should. Factory pads and rotors shouldn't make noise, but the pads put out a lot of dust. You really shouldn't have needed new rotors before now, unless something really went wrong with them. You can get Zimmerman rotors from eEuroparts, along with several different kinds of pads for less than factory parts, or you can buy factory parts from them. None of them should make noise if properly installed. If you do the job yourself, then get some squeal reducer from an auto parts store. It's essentially an adhesive that sticks the pads to the calipers so that they don't drag on the rotors when you're not braking.
